Changes to interim supplement/remuneration
- If all of the conditions for the interim supplement paid to unemployed construction workers prior to retirement are fulfilled, a settlement payment can be paid out instead in case of continued employment. You can read more details about the interim settlement here.
- The eligibility requirements for the interim supplement paid to unemployed construction workers prior to retirement have been extended as of 1 January 2017 to include proof of ten completed units of health-promoting activities. Read more here.
- As of 1 January 2017, the employment contract ends on the day before the start of the interim settlement payment by termination on the part of the employee. Termination initiated by the employer before this termination date may be a wrongful termination. Read more about the new regulations here.
